At Harlow, we believe in transparency when it comes to our pricing. We want to make sure that our clients understand exactly what they are paying for and why. That’s why we have implemented a Transparent Chemical Fee policy.
This policy ensures that you are not being overcharged for your hair services. Every head of hair is unique, and we take into account your specific hair type, length, and desired outcome when determining the cost of your service. We want to make sure that you are only paying for what you need and that you are getting the results you want.
Our service fee is for our experience, skill, and the time we spend with you behind the chair. We want to provide you with the best possible service and experience, and that’s why we charge a fair price for our expertise.
Transparent Chemical Fee policy is as follows:

27. Harlow’s Cancellation Policy
This policy is put in place to ensure that our business runs smoothly and to provide fair treatment to both our clients and our staff. We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise, which is why we allow for changes or cancellations with at least 48 hours notice.
Our policy is as follows:
- At least 48 hours notice is required to change or cancel your reservation without incurring a fee.
- Changes or cancellations made within the 48-hour window will be subject to a 50% charge of the booked services.
- Reservations canceled or changed 24 hours or less, or no-shows, will be charged 100% of the missed services.

28. Eco-Friendly Initiative
Introducing Harlow Beauty and Hair Salon, your new destination for exquisite hair services. We’re proud to announce that we have joined the Green Circle Salon movement, dedicated to repurposing and recovering up to 95% of previously discarded resources. At Harlow, we ensure that materials like hair, leftover hair color, foils, color tubes, aerosol cans, paper, and plastics find a new purpose instead of being wasted.
To support this eco-friendly initiative, we kindly include a small Eco Fee of $2.50 in your bill, allowing us to sustain this program. However, if you prefer to have this fee removed, please inform our front desk during checkout.
29. Pricing and Additional Charges
Our prices may vary depending on the stylist performing the service, so feel free to inquire about the details when scheduling your appointment. Rest assured, we have full confidence in all our stylists and their ability to deliver outstanding results, regardless of the price. For haircut bookings, please keep in mind that certain hair types, such as thicker, longer, or more textured hair, may require additional time. To accommodate these specific needs, we schedule extra time for the haircut, and this will be reflected in the price.
If you desire a hairstyle that involves heat tools like a Flat Iron or Curling Iron, please let us know at the time of booking, and we’ll be more than happy to accommodate your request. Kindly note that an additional charge will apply to cover the use of these heat styling tools.
30. Consultations and Additional Charges
Please note we are a level-based salon, therefore pricing does go up depending on the level stylist you are booked with. Consultations are required for all new clients and are either free, $20, or $25 depending on the level stylist. Please also note that Women’s Cuts may include an additional Rapunzel charge of $10+ for guests with amazing amounts of hair that takes longer to shampoo, cut, and blow-dry than the usual allotted time. Please be aware our Stylists do not do Barber style Men’s Cuts. Extra Color charges are calculated in Vish and added to tickets accordingly for instances where extra color is needed
